So What Wednesday

Happy Hump Day!!  Linking up again with Shannon over at Life After I Dew for So What Wednesday.

So What...

- if I I'm slightly majorly addicted to another phone game - Scramble with Friends.  Come play with me - search for GurleeGirrl.

- if I show up to my daughter's volleyball practice tonight looking like a wet cat.  This momma has to go to Jazzercise if she plans on winning the weight-loss competion.

- if I bought another new lipstick. Avon put the screws to me and discontinued my favorite  signature color Wonder Wine.  I did buy 5 tubes on ebay - but they are going quick!

- if I get excited for Wednesday night TV.  Both shows are so damn funny. 

- if I get way more excited for Thursday night TV Damon.

- if I don't right a review of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.  I'll just say although it left me feeling uncomfortable, queasy and surprised - it was still Great.

Sometimes and Always

Sometimes I find pictures of what I think I want to change my hairstyle to.
Always change my mind at the last minute because I realize I'm not gonna look like the "model/actress" in the picture just because I cut my hair like her.

Sometimes I don't plan on drinking at bowling.
Always order myself a Captain and Diet.  No one makes a better drink than Kelly at Merribowl.

Sometimes I get too busy and I don't talk to my sister as much as I should. 
Always hope my baby-sister knows how much I love her.

Sometimes I think I want to move to a small town like in the movie Hope Floats.
Always glad that I live in a city where I'm within 10 minutes of two shopping malls.

Thumbs Up Monday

It's Monday - what better way to start the week than with a Thumb Up!

Jenny Jenny is giving a thumb up to starting our new weight loss competition. We will be participating in a 12-week program that will end on April 1st.  A very nice cash prize ($$$) is up for grabs.  And who can't use a few extra hundred dollars?!  To be the good sport that I am, I wish Jenny Jenny, GTuck and Chrissy good luck...but FYI - I plan on winning that prize!   This GurleeGirrl wants a new Coach purse (and smaller tummy & thinner thighs)!

I'm giving a thumb up to kicking butt at work today!  Not only did I finish my management reports early, I have two full days to tweak my PowerPoint presentations!  That means NO STRESS on me. 

p.s.  Leave it to Jenny Jenny to give us a Thumb Down moment this past week.  My girl showed up in the wrong bowling shirt.  Didn't she know, that shirt is so last year?!?!

If my calculations are right, I watched 67 of the 212 movies (Limited & Wide Release), which is 31.6%.  However, of the 212, only 141 were Wide Releases, which means I watched 47.5% of those!  How many have you seen?

They have reported box office sales were the lowest since 1992.  Did you go as often as "normal" is for you?  If not, was it because you weren't interested in the movies? or your schedule is too busy? or ticket prices are too high?

Of the ones I haven't watched, can you recommend one?
