[Gurlee]Girrl Friday

First, let's talk about this BEAUTIFUL color this week.  It is from the 007 Collection by OPI:

This color totally reminds me of New Years Eve.  I don't know if it's the shimmeriness or the richness, but it just feels like a party color to me.  I love it.

Now on to some Friday randomness:

  • So today was Sport Apparel Day at work.  This basically means we can wear jerseys, sweatshirts, etc., of our favorite sports teams.  I opted to wear my Green Bay Packer's Clay Matthew's jersey.

NOT because I am a Green Bay Packers fan (GO LIONS!!!), but because I am a Clay Matthews fan!!

  • During said sport apparel day I did not win anything from the raffle.  There were only 10 people who didn't win something - and one of them was me!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  • Am I the only one  who gets excited to celebrate the first of the month because I get to flip my calendar over to a new picture?  Talking about calendars, it's about that time to find a new one!!
  • I have read quite a few good books lately.  Currently reading Motorcycle Man (thanks Debbie for the recommendation and the lend!!!), and maybe it's because I am obsessed with Jax on SOA, but this book has me totally wanting to be a biker's babe.  There is something about a bad boy that is just so attractive.
  • I had a day off this week from work, due to a sick family member.  I really don't understand how time literally FLIES when I am at home, but when I am at work, time STANDS still!  Seriously it felt like I just got the kids on the bus, I met a friend for lunch and ran to Target, and then I had to get home because Ash was due home!!  I couldn't imagine if everyday felt like that.  I seriously like the slow-paced feeling I get at work.
  • I ordered two MAC lipsticks this past Monday because 1) I love MAC lipstick and 2) they were offering FREE overnight shipping.  I got my go-to color Viva Glam I and MAC Red.  However, the MAC Red is a little too PINK for my taste.  Totally bummed.  I wanted RED!
Well friends - I'm off to enjoy my weekend!  Hope everyone has a fabulous one!

Where Do You Draw The Line?

Now don't get me wrong, I am no Scrooge, but when Christmas rolls around, I start to feel a little overwhelmed with the amount of people in our lives that I end up buying presents for.

Now of course, my kids and family are at the top, and I absolutely LOVE buying them presents.  I love seeing my kids wake up early on Christmas morning, and the excitement in their eyes when they spy their presents underneath the tree.  I live for moments like that.  The fact that they still believe only makes our morning more special (although I THINK Ashley has finally figured it out - but will continue to fake it to make me happy).

I'm talking about those "extra" people in your lives.  People that definitely make a difference in your world, but people that you may not know too well.  People like the teachers at school.  People that work with you at your office.  People like your mail person or paper person.  Your hairdresser.  I mean the list goes on and on.

In the past, I have always bought presents for all of Ashley & Colton's teachers.  This normally turns out to be about 4-5 teachers EACH kid.  They each have a "main" teacher.  Colton has a reading teacher, speech teacher and art/music/gym teachers.  Ashley has a second "main" teacher, as well as art/gym teachers.  Although I have met most of the teachers, I really do not "know" them, and find buying gifts for them extremely hard.  I mean how many coffee cups, bottles of lotions, etc., can one person need?  I have broken down and bought gift cards, but I hate the idea of putting an actual price on a gift.  I just think it's so impersonal and actually puts pressure on me to give "enough".

So my question to you is, where do you draw the line?  Do you buy for teachers, co-workers, hairdressers, mail person, etc.?  If you do buy for the teacher's what type of presents do you give?  I really want to get a head-start on my shopping, as I am normally scrambling the day before school breaks for the holiday for gifts!!   So help this GurleeGirrl out.

My World Lately

Hi friends!!! It's been awhile since I visited blogland!  It was nice to just relax, spend time with family and enjoy my time off.

Here's a little recap of my holiday break:

Wednesday night I took the kids to visit Jenny Jenny to get their hair cuts.  Colton opted for his "mohawk" again, and Ash actually requested to get some length taken off.  Jenny Jenny took off about 5 inches!!! Her hair looks so much healthier, and best of all, she loves it.

On Thursday the entire family got together to celebrate Thanksgiving.  To say I overate is an understatement.  The food was plentiful and the wine was flowing.  I had a great time visiting with my family and friends.

The girls excitedly made their Christmas Wish Lists.  I just was hoping that Ashley's list would not include her normal requests such as iPhone, iPad, etc., but of course it did.  That girl just sets herself up for disappointment!

This year Black Friday shopping started a little earlier.  We hit the streets around 10:00pm.  The stores seemed to do a better job of being organized this year.  We also allowed my niece and Ashley to accompany us.  They have heard stories of our Black Friday nightmares - but this year - it was pretty tame.  They enjoyed going and enjoyed breakfast after even more!

The rest of the weekend flew by.  The house is now officially "Christmas-tized" and I love it.  I love the lights and sparkle.  The kids go a little over-board on the decorations, but I'm not complaining.

I went to a few movies this weekend and if you only see one movie this year, make it Silver Linings Playbook.  This movie was awesome.  Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence and Robert DeNiro were amazing! Even Chris Tucker's performance is worthly of mention.  This cast and all their quirks really made connections, and although some parts were too crazy and real, it was a great movie.  It's by far Bradley Cooper's best performance.

We spent a few hours working on Colton's book report.  We read several different books before finding one that we felt fit the assignment.  It's been YEARS since this mom has had to identify the "climax" and the "conclusion" of the story, and hopefully I didn't steer him wrong.  He worked so hard on his penmanship and I hope it shows through to his teacher.

After our all day shopping excursion it was nice to get some downtime in on Sunday and even Boo snuck in a few naps!

How was your holiday?  Did you venture out on Black Friday?  What are you "hot ticket" items this year for presents?

Each year my parents invite us to attend the Holiday Lighting at Henry Ford Museum which is exclusively for members.  It's nice to see the Museum full to the brim with families.

Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive via a Model T.  Santa always says a few words to the kiddos about eating their vegetables, getting in bed early on Christmas Eve and leaving extra cookies out for him.  My kids really enjoy this part of the night.  Santa then has a countdown, which gets the kids all in a frenzy, until he finally flips the switch and lights the tree.

After the lighting, we normally head over to the Michigan Cafe for some dinner.  This year was no different.  The kids get their kids meals (hot dogs or chicken fingers) and normally plan out the rest of our night.

After dinner, we let the kids run from train-to-train, visit the car showplace, then we head over to their favorite spot, the paper airplane building room.  We spend a good half an hour watching them try to master the art of paper-airplane making.  I swear Colton must have made 5 different ones, and thought each one was a "must take home plane."  Needless to say, momma left them in the "To Be Recycled" bin.

The current "special" exhibit at the Museum is LEGO Architecture: Towering Ambition.  The exhibit is pretty impressive.  I know their are people who can build amazing things with LEGOS, and they sure outdid themselves with this exhibit.

Couple of things I learned about LEGOs at the gift shop.  A)  They weigh next to nothing, and B)  They cost a fortune!  Seriously, you couldn't buy a set under $30.  Thankfully neither of my kids are LEGO fans, so I got out of there without spending a dime.

From here, we headed over to the big tree to take some pictures.  I normally get a few good ones of the kids to choose for my Christmas Card.  I may have taken 15, trying to get 1 good one.  I swear those two can't stand next to one another for more than a second before a fight breaks out.  He was yelling she was touching him, and she was trying to put her arm around him, which infuriated him.  So out of the bunch, I think I got one where they were both looking at me and smiling.  It's the little things that make me happy.

Luckily the "craft table" had cleared out and the kids were able to get a spot to make their ornaments.  You would think that the Museum would learn that a craft that takes parental assistance to make, just isn't the right level for this type of event.  I was working with all the kids to get their ornaments made and they did come out pretty cute.  They are clear plastic bulbs, full of snowflake glitter, and have fuzzy balls for eyes & mouth, orange pipe cleaner nose and gold pipe cleaner with red balls for ear muffs.  Everything is attached with "glue dots".  Well those dumb dots were sticking to everything but the ornament.  It took some time, but they were happy with their creations.

By the end of the night, this momma was tired and her feet were aching from all the walking.

I enjoyed listening to the kids prepare their lists for Santa, and to me, it's our tradition that kicks off the Christmas season.

Weekend Update

This weekend was definitely full - and fun!

Saturday started off with Ashley's volleyball game.  The girls are doing fantastic this season and pulled off another 2 wins.  They are "undefeated" so far (but it's only been two weeks!).  I'm am very proud of her and how much she has improved this season.

Afterwards Coach Chrissy, Ash & I went to Panera for some lunch, and then went to check out an apartment that Chrissy is thinking about moving too.  Although they were nice, I told her to take her time, and that we could visit a few more before she pulls the trigger on one.  Hopefully we find the perfect place for her.

Saturday night is bowling night.  We were also celebrating Just Joe's birthday.  Boy is he getting old - or at least seems to be catching up to me.  We had a great time bowling and then hit Herman's in Downtown Plymouth.  The food was fantastic.  We basically ordered one of each of the Today's Specials.  The steak bites and cheesy potatoes were to die for.  Seriously.

Jenny Jenny and Soccer Steph are "Hunter's Widows" this week, but had their boys with them in spirit at least. LOL

Sunday was Football Sunday.  I honestly can say I had a fantastic time.  I loved the excitement in the stadium and found myself on the edge of my seat, screaming like a crazy and jumping up to celebrate with my fellow Lions fans.  The game was so close - but unfortunately the Lions' were not able to pull off a win.  Those darn Packers squeaked a win out and it really sucked for me, since I was with two of the biggest Packer fans around.  They really rubbed salt into the wounds.  I was happy to have my gigantic Bloody Mary to console me.

So that's my weekend.  How was yours?

[Gurlee]Girrl Friday

I want to start out by saying I was one of those crazies who was sitting in the movie theater last night at midnight to watch Breaking Dawn Part 2.  All I can say is WOW.  It was beyond all of my expectations.  The writers really took the story in a direction that was unexpected, but it only improved the movie watching experience.  I loved it.  Even the homely KStew looked beautiful throughout it - and that my friends - is called movie magic.  Good stuff.

Secondly, I want to thank Tiffany for my incredible blog-redo.  She was a dream to work with, made sure every detail was covered and even continues to help me with my crazy questions after-the-fact.  If you are looking for a blog designer, check her out.

This week, I chose Digital by Sally Hansen Hi Definition Nail Color.  I love it.  It it so bold and cheery, just what I've needed on these sunless fall days we've been having.  My sister bought it for me for my birthday last month, along with the heart glitters.  I put a two on each nail and sealed them down with a top coat.  They are still attached 4 days later.  I've also gotten several compliments on the color.  It was a great pick Missa!

Now on to some Friday randomness:

  • This week Colton achieved something that we have been working years on mastering.  The boy can tie his shoes!!! Now, I know some (or most) kids can do it in Kindergarten, and he is in 2nd grade, but I am still just as proud of him.  He has very poor hand strength (which shocks me because he is involved in so many sports) but even holding a pencil, coloring, etc., is difficult for him at times.  I swear something just clicked in his brain on Wednesday morning and after me showing him a few times, he was able to do it alone, and has consistently since.  Good job Buddy!

  • Last night, Jenny Jenny and Shelbs introduced me to snap chat.  The is an app where you can send people a snapshot of yourself (or anything) and you can edit it with words or doodles, then set it to display anywhere from 3 - 10 seconds.  Once the snapshot is viewed for the set time interval, it is no longer available to view again.  Genius.  The fun that can be had with this app is never ending.  So if you have it, snap chat me at GurleeGirrl.
  • I finished Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn.  This book had been recommended to me by a few different people.  I didn't love it.  I didn't hate.  It was different that the books I've been reading.  It was suspenseful and very well written.  I should have loved it.  But, I just didn't.
  • I'm excited to go to the Lions Vs. Packers game this Sunday.  Thanks to the GTuck for finding and buying my Matthew Stafford jersey for me.  I know how much it must have killed you buying anything other than Packers merchandise.  Thank you!!!
  • I know that I am looking forward to Turkey day next week.  Nothing better than turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes, except when you can follow it up with a piece of pumpkin pie!
  • I am normally a Black Friday shopper.  My mom, seester and I hit the stores at midnight looking for deals.  I feel so far behind this year, and have absolutely no idea what the big items are this year.  I better get my butt in gear and figure it out quick.
  • I've been looking for a nice CHEAP pair of brown riding boots.  If you have any suggestions, PLEASE PLEASE let me know.  I almost broke down and ordered a pair from Just Fab for $20, but the thought of signing up for another monthly service doesn't appeal to me.  I normally forget to say "no thanks, not this month" and end up being billed.
With that my girlys - I'm wrapping it up.  Have a safe and fabulous weekend!

The 6th Grade Blues

“Mom! It isn’t fair.”

“Mom! I hate my life.”

“Mom! I’ll be doing homework all night!”

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard these words come out of Ashley’s mouth the last few months. My girl is miserable. Why?

Homework

Ashley’s daily afterschool routine goes something like this:

· Arrive home 3:20pm

· Get Drink/Food

· Begin Homework 3:30pm

· Eat Dinner 6:00pm

· Do More Homework 6:15pm

· Take a Shower 7:30pm

· Do More Homework 7:45pm

· Go To Bed 9:30pm

If you are doing the math, that is give or take about 5 hours of homework each night. Is this an exaggeration? No. It’s the straight up truth.

Each night she has homework which consists of Word Study (spelling/definitions), Math (worksheets, book work & IXL), Reading (Group Reading, Independent AR’s and RazzKids), and either Science/Social Studies/World Language work. She even has received an assignment to write a paper for her GYM class!

Now, I am the type of parent that believes kids should have homework. Hey – I had it – I basically had the exact same experience (minus the computer work because computers were not invented way back then) when I was in 6th grade. I hated school, and in particular my teacher, Mrs. Pelham. She was mean, piled on the homework and always sent home progress reports showing my parent’s just how bad I was doing. I’m sure my mom heard me complain a time or two or a thousand about her. I couldn’t wait for 6th grade to be over. She would always say “You kids will thank me next year. I’m just preparing you for 7th grade.” Well you know what, she was right. When I got to 7th grade, the fact that she pushed me to be the best student possible, helping me develop awesome study habits, and by proving to me that if I did 1500 math problems, I’d get an A on that test. It wasn’t an easy year, but I got through it.

After visiting with Ashley’s teacher at conference’s this week, the words she spoke were very familiar to me. “you know Mrs. Dunn, I realize that it SEEMS like a lot of work right now, but next year, she will be ready to tackle on the faster pace of 7th grade”. I get it – but how do you get a 11 year old girl who is unable to have a social life because she is always doing homework to “get it”. The teacher even gave homework on Halloween. I was a little pissed about that. Like really? The one day that she knows 90% of the kids will be out for at least 2 hours of the evening? We got it done, but bedtime got pushed out to 10:00pm.

It also seems unfair to her right now because her brother has homework, but it normally takes him about 5 minutes to complete it. No lie. You can see her blood pressure rising when he gets his done and is able to watch TV/play video games/etc. That poor girl.

Ash homework

My question to you – what is a reasonable amount of homework for a 6th grader? Did you ever have “that teacher” who you thought gave too much homework? How do you explain to an 11 year old girl that it WILL pay off eventually?

Smile Pretty

Growing up we always had a dog. Sometimes two.  Our dogs were always a part of our family.  They slept in bed with my parents, laid on our couches and snuggled with us.  They were always given food from our table and even had their own stockings at Christmas time.

When I married, our first “child” was a Labrador named Brandy.  She literally was my first born.  She welcomed her “sister” Ashley in 2001 and when I was expecting her “brother” Colton, she was diagnosed with cancer.  We had just returned from vacation, and she would not eat and would throw up if she drank water.  Her neck was swollen and we took her to the Emergency Room.  After several blood tests, they told us she had cancer.  There was little hope that treatments would work, as they felt the cancer was advanced.  She was 8 years old.  We had to put her to sleep one month before Colton was born.  It w as literally the hardest thing I had ever done in my life.  I’m crying as I type this out.  I miss her every day.  She was the best dog ever.  She will always be my first baby.

brandy1

brandy2

After losing Brandy, I swore I’d never get another dog.  I couldn’t imagine experiencing that loss again.  I couldn’t imagine loving another animal that way I loved her.

My parents insisted that children needed to grow up with a pet.  They always thought it was horrible that I wouldn’t get them another dog.  I justified in my head that my kids were always around my parent’s dogs, and were experiencing the connection with them.  They have never been fearful of dogs, knew to respect them and knew not to bother them while eating, drinking, etc.  Being socialized with animals is important, but I felt they were getting it with Grandma and Grandpa’s dogs.

When I got sick and was having chemo treatments, I would think about having a dog.  How much I missed the unconditional love that Brandy gave me.  She protected me and made me feel loved, especially when no one else was around.  She was my company.  Ashley had been begging for a dog for years.  Colton had jumped on the band wagon too.  It was getting harder and harder to just say no.

In September of 2010, after winning my battle with cancer, I realized we needed something fresh and new in our lives.  Our household had been through one hellish year and my kids needed to have something to distract them, and to make them happy again. We found this cute baby girl – or as I like to say – she picked up.  All the others ran away, but not her.  She planted herself at my feet, ready to go home.  We named her Malibu.

BooB

BooA

Malibu has brought so much happiness and craziness to our house.  She is a lover and a fighter.  She steal socks, chews on paper, loves to take us for walks, chases squirrels, barks at her shadow and gives us more love than I ever thought imaginable.  The moment I walk in the house, she is at my side.  She sleeps in my lap all evening, she is my heating pad.

The other day, after a particular crappy day, she was lounging on the couch just staring at me.  I said to her “Malibu do you love momma?” She looked at me, and a small smile appeared on her face.  Yes – she does love me.  My crappy day seemed not so crappy anymore.

Boo3Boo2Boo1

Malibu – momma loves you.  You bring so much happiness to my world.  Thanks for picking us.

Do you have a dog?  Is your dog your baby?  Do you get smiles from your baby?

What Happens In Vegas……

Now remember, I’m not some 20-something out partying her butt off in Vegas.  I am closer to 40 and hanging out with my parents and sister and her husband.  We sure didn’t hit the nightclubs, hell, we didn’t even hit a buffet.  What we did do – is have an awesome time.

We began our journey on Wednesday, November 7th.  We were scheduled to depart Detroit Metro at 11:05am and everything was running on schedule.  We grabbed cups of coffee and waited patiently to board.  To say I was excited was an understatement.  I haven’t been to Vegas since 1999. We quickly ordered some cocktails and settled in for our 4-1/2 hour flight.

Vegas 1

We arrived around 12:30pm Vegas time and did what every other person does – we headed to Chili's for  some lunch.

Vegas 1a

After lunch we headed to our hotel – The Excalibur – to check in.  Our rooms were spread out, but all located on the 8th floor of Tower II.  My room faced New York, New York and the view wasn’t too shabby.

Vegas 2

We agreed to rest for 1/2 hour or so and meet up to get our gambling on.  I utilized my free time to drink some more wine.  Time well spent.

Vegas 3

We played a few games at Excalibur and then headed over to Luxor.  The guys were playing Black Jack and us ladies stuck to the slots.  Momma was winning big.  It seemed like she would put in $20 and always cash out with $250.  Seester Missa was just as lucky.  Of course I was losing hand over fist, but both of them were extremely generous and replenished my lost funds.

Vegas 4

Momma kept hitting the Spin on Wheel of Fortune, and she bought me and Seester Missa a Bloody Mary (mine extra spicy).  They were good.  We called it a day around Midnight.

We agreed to meet in the lobby at 8:30am for breakfast.  In the past, my family has been a fan of the breakfasts served at Sunset Station (which is 15 minutes from the strip), in particular their “skillet” meals.  I was anxious to try the “Ham Skillet”, as I could eat salty ham all day long, every day.  Not kidding.

My mom and seester split a skillet meal, and I ordered my own.  We also ordered a side of Cinnamon Roll Pancakes and Pumpkin Pancakes (my eyes are always bigger than my stomach!).

Vegas 5

The ham was seriously the best I’ve ever had – anywhere – hands down.  There is no better way to start off your morning, than with an amazing breakfast.  We all concurred we’d be returning each day.

After breakfast we did a little site-seeing of the strip and decided to hit up the outlet malls.  I couldn’t resist picking up a new Kate Spade bag, for just $70!

Vegas 6

Vegas 7

We headed over to Ballys / Paris to do a little gambling and to see about getting tickets for Jersey Boys.  I had a “little” luck at the Let it Ride table, and cashed out my chips.  We enjoyed a few “frozen” cocktails and walked around some shops.

Vegas 8

Everyone agreed that the Le Café would be a great place to stop and have some lunch/dinner.  I ordered the French Dip sandwich and it was literally to die for.  Check the awesomeness out!

Vegas 9

Vegas 10

After debating which show we wanted to see, we decided that The Legends at Harrah’s was right up our alley.  The show consists of musical impersonators.  Our show included Barry White, Justin Timberlake, Adele, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson and Elvis.  The show appealed to all of us and did not disappoint.  It was worth the $65 ticket price.

Vegas 11

Vegas 12

After a little more gambling at Luxor, we called it a night.  We agree on our 8:30am meet-up time for breakfast at Sunset Station.  This morning I chose a Veggie Omelet with Avocado and a side of Ham.

Vegas 13

After eating we headed back to the strip.  We spend some time gambling, and then went shopping and sight seeing.  I was adamant that we visit The Cosmopolitan so my seester and I set out on an adventure.  It was well worth our time.  The casino is BEAUTIFUL!!! Faith did not steer me wrong, it sure is a Girly Girl paradise.

Vegas 15

We stopped at Circus Circus to do a little souvenir shopping and hit gold when we scored Bud Light Margarita cans 2 for $8, and that came with a beach ball too! We had been paying $6 for one at the casinos and our hotel.  These are potent little drinks.  Two will do you in.  Just a warning….

Vegas 17

We made it back to pick up the parents and head over to the Jersey Boys show at Paris.  The show was entertaining.  The music was good.  Out of the 3 shows we went too, this was my least favorite.  Could’ve been the margaritas and Captain and Diet’s catching up with me, but the show seemed to go on forever and ever and ever.  My parents loved it.

We tried to hit the Harrah’s buffet after the show, but we go there 5 minutes too late.  Wah Wah

My dad suggested we go to Hooters?!?!?!?! Umm ok dad.  So we did.  We weren’t happy about it either.  Not long after finishing off our burgers (which were actually decent), my mom AGAIN hit on a Wheel of Fortune machine and won $485!  What I love about my mom, after winning her money she gave me $100 and my seester $100 because she could.  She is crazy.  We then gave her $20 a piece and she played another machine and hit for $183.  We cashed out at $61 a piece.  Not bad for two pulls on the machine.  Hooters may be my mom’s new favorite casino.

Vegas 16

Saturday morning we headed over to Sunset Station again for breakfast (you see we are not super adventurous people).  I chose Corned Beef Hash and Poached Eggs with a side of Ham (yes I must eat ham every day).  They got the eggs PERFECT for dipping.  I couldn’t have been happier.

Vegas 18

We had wanted to hit the Forum Shops at Caesars, so we headed there after breakfast.  Caesars is amazing.  It is ginormous and the statues are breathtaking.  You could spend all day just browsing.

Vegas 20

We decided to have lunch, a bread bowl of Lobster Chowder, and of course a Spicy Bloody Mary.  YUMM

Vegas 21

Although it was cold, we walked around outside and The Mirage has a beautiful display.  Who doesn’t love dolphins?

Vegas 19

While walking around, we decided to get tickets for one more show.  After much consideration, we picked The King staring Trent Carlini.  Trent won the Next Best Thing a few years back.  Now he SOUNDED great.  However, I have seen many Elvis Tribute Artists, and I would say he was decent, not awesome, but decent.  We enjoyed the show and he also has his wife “dancing” on stage with him, so there is some eye candy for the guys too.

Vegas 22

After the show, Trent and his wife Ashley were in the lobby signing autographs and taking pictures.  I just had to get my picture with a Las Vegas Elvis, so we waited in line.  We got a few cheese ball photos but I’ll only share one.  Geez I was greasy.

Vegas 23

Even the guys had to get in on the action.  The lovely Ashley was happy to oblige them a pic.

Vegas 24

No trip to Vegas would be complete without a stop on Fremont Street.  I just love that cowboy.  We didn’t win much, but the men were lucky at the tables there.  The crowds were there, but mostly in the streets and at Golden Nugget.  You could certainly tell it was a Saturday night.  It was pretty wild down there.  I was happy when it was time to leave.

Vegas 25

Our day ended around Midnight again – yeah I’m old – I was hitting the bed when most are just getting started.  We had an early flight back home Sunday, so I was happy to call it a night.

Next trip I hope to eat at In-N-Out Burger and the Rio Seafood Buffet.  I want to visit The Venetian, The Palazzo and Bellagio.  Although we were there and on the go the whole time, we just ran out of time.  I’m already looking forward to another trip soon!
