Sometimes and Always

It's Tuesday already?!?! Back to work and time for:

Linking up with Megan at Mackey's Madness.  Go take a peak at hers and all the other link-ups!  You'll read some good ones ;)

Sometimes when I'm at work I'll pick up my phone to check a new message.
Always end up playing all my Words with Friends, Poker Pals and Hanging with Friends games that I have open.

Sometimes I want to clean up my Gmail Inbox.
Always open a few and then give up and that's why I currently have 61,630 unread messages.

Sometimes I think it's a good idea to wear my 4"+ heels to work.
Always end up having a busy day running around the building and regret that decision!

Sometimes I organize my closet and feel so accomplished.
Always end up letting it get too full after a few weeks.  I just can't stop buying clothes!

Looking forward to seeing Sherlock Holmes:  A Game of Shadows tonight for Movie Tuesday.  I do love me some Robert Downey, Jr., even with his fake British accent.  Be sure to stop by tomorrow for my review.

Movie Tuesday

Today is Tuesday and that means it's Movie Tuesday!!

We will start off with dinner at:

Brann's Sizzling Steaks & Sports Grill - there are so many yummy things I don't know how I'm going to pick just one....

The movie of the night is:

Hugo 3D  -  I know NOTHING about this movie.  I haven't watched the trailer or read any reviews.  I'm going in blind.  Sometimes that's not a bad thing to do.  No expectations.

Getting back into the swing of things after a vacation is hard, but Movie Tuesday is always fun.  Looking forward to good food, good friends and a good movie.

It's Only Wednesday

Although it is only Wednesday, it's been one hell of a week.  And not in a good way.  UGH

I took my kids to see Jack and Jill for Movie Tuesday. I would rate this movie as OK.  My kids are 6 and 10 and the movie was kid-friendly enough for me.  There of course were some humorous parts that they obviously are too young to pick up on, but it was not offensive to them either.  I like when a movie can appeal to the adults,  but doesn't cross the line for the kids.  Good job Adam Sandler.  The highlight for me was watching my son crack-up during a bathroom blow-out scene.  Every time he heard Jill fart, he cracked up.  Yep - he's my kid - with my sense of humor.  I laughed right along with him.

Looking forward to:

  • Midnight screening of Twilight Saga:  Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 - you can catch me at the AMC Livonia Screen 9 showing tomorrow night.
  • Having my palm/cards read by a Psychic on Friday night.  Hoping she sees a better and healthier 2012 in my future.
  • Sons basketball game Saturday morning - nothing beats watching a bunch of 6 and 7 year old boys shooting baskets!
Maybe my week has promise of getting better yet....
